Being environmentally conscious is at the forefront of everything I do. As a mother of 3 girls, I try my best to educate my children on the importance of recycling, reusing and reducing, by leading by example and integrating sustainable choices into everyday family life - this includes my business. As an entrepreneur, where possible, I actively make sustainable choices that support the 100% natural ethos of my business and brand.
 
Whilst more sustainable choices are not always the most cost effective, it is important to me and my customers. My commitment to sustainability can be demonstrated in the following ways:

 

Ingredients: I source my ingredients from suppliers who are certified Vegan and only use 100% pure essential oils and natural soy wax. Nothing artificial is used in my candles and they are all paraffin & lead free (no coloured candles here!). All ingredients are organic, plastic free and purchased in bulk to save on small, single-use plastic storage. My jars are all reusable.

 

Packaging: I only use British cardboard box packaging which is FSC certified and is fully recyclable. I welcome and encourage customers to return used boxes to me, which I gladly reuse for a repeat order. I use biodegradable and compostable packaging from EcoFlo and biodegradable bubble wrap from Tidmas Townsend.

 

Energy Consumption: I deliver locally using my electric vehicle or on foot/by bike.

 

Collaboration with the International Tree Foundation: For every votive returned to me, I make a donation to the ITF. They work every day to plant, grow trees, restore and conserve forests and strengthen community and eco-systems.
